Summary of Medical Question:

breast pain and discharge

Posted by:

Romita

I am a 29 yrs old female. I have continuous pain in both of my breasts. There is also a discharge - white in some ducts and watery in another. I have noticed spontaneous discharge from my left breast. Seven years back I had problem of high prolactin which was cured and now my prolactin levels are normal. I have a 4 yrs old son whom I breastfed for an year. Two years back I had severe pain in my breasts and so went for a ultrasound which suggested- proliferative disease of breast. Doctor said that the pain and discharge is stress relared and gave medicines for one month. I am also suffering from migraine, thyroid (for which I take 100mg thyronorm), rhematoid arthritis and internal hernia. Breast pain is a problem for me. What should I do?

Answer by FreeMedicalHelpline.com

We need to rule out hyperpralactenaemia. Blood pratactin, thyroid function tests and MRI- pitutary need to be done. Please consult a gynecologist/ physician.

Summary of Medical Question:

Facial hair removal cream burn

Posted by:

Simon

Last night around 10pm I used Sally Hansen creme hair remover kit on my face. I'm a male and I suffer from a mild case of folliculitis. I read from several sources that using a hair removing cream rather than shaving may help reduce shaving irritation. After removing the cream from my face ( it was on for the recommended time ) I noticed my face was burning pretty badly. The hair didn't even remove. I had to use soap and water to remove the remaining cream. My face was very red. After a little wile it was even swollen to some degree. I used an ice pack to help reduce the pain. Today the redness has reduced significantly but it still stings and I am still swollen around my upper lip area and slightly to the side of the mouth. The redness is in a ring around my mouth area and a little on each side of my face towards the jaw bone. I have taken ibuprofen and I'm using a form of Neosporin antibiotic ointment in the burned area. My question is. Am I doing the right thing to boost the healing proses and how long does a burn like this usually take to heal? Is there anything else I should or can do? I have an important even on Sunday and I'm worried that the redness and swelling won't go away in time. Thanks in advance for any help and advise you may be able to give.

Answer by FreeMedicalHelpline.com

This is an allergic reaction to hair remover cream. take an antiallergy tablet like allegra or chlorpheniramine maleate. You may also apply little quantity of steroid ointment like betnovate locally for fast recovery but use minimum quantity and stop it at the earliest.

Summary of Medical Question:

pain on the cervix/pelvic

Posted by:

Lili007

Hi so I'm a female 21 years old. I recently had a throat infection, ear infection and a slight case of pink eye. My doctor gave me antibiotics and a week and a half later I ran out of panti liners so I used an wet baby wipe for a couple of hours. After a day or two I had a horrible itch in my vigina opening and vulva no ordor or discharge unless it was mask by the over the counter creams I was using to treat the itch. So now I got a light yellowish cottage cheese discharge and pain in my cervix/ pelvic are could I think its a yeast infection could this be from the antibiotics? Or something else? Help plez I can't stop thinking its cancer or an undetected old std please help.

Answer by FreeMedicalHelpline.com

It is likely to be yeast/ clamydia infection. Take tablet azithromycin 1 gm single dose and put clotrimazole pills-deep in vaginal twice daily for one week. If it is not completely cured, you need to get a deep vaginal swab tested and consult a gynecologist.
