My son 13 year old is suffering from hearing loss (about 70%) both ears. I want to obtain disability certificate from AIIMS. Whom should I contact & what is the procedure? Can I approach on any working day?

Suresh, pl contact Department of Rehabilitation in AIIMS or Safadarjung Hosp., get the child registered in OPD. He will be examined and investigated and then called for special board where his disbility will be determined and certificate will be issued. It will require 3-5 visits.

My husband has continious pain in his lower back. well, it starts in his lower back and spread to his testicals. He struggles sometimes to walk and this happens everyday. Please can anybody help me. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Melanie, please get an x-ray (preferably digital x-ray) for low back -AP and lateral views done. Physician or orthopedic surgeon need to examine the range of movements at hip joint and any impairment of sensations in lower limbs. diabetes need to ruled out by blood sugar test. In the mean time your husband can take some pain killers like ibuprofen and once pain is under control start spinal extension esercises.

pulsating head pains

I have been having a throbbing, pulsating pain on the left, front top of my head and its been going on for a couple of weeks. If i turn my head a certain way i get dizzy. It also just became localized to that spot it would jump all over my head. I sometimes get nauseous and i have gotten light sensitivity a few times but not often. I also have shoulder and neck pain( burning) on the left side also....I also feel like i walked into a cob web a million times..Could this be something to worry about?? I am confused as to why im having all these problems. Oh yea and i sometimes have my legs crossed and will get up and have a great big dent in my leg???? Im only 29 Please help me out. Thanks so much and God Bless

Crystal, these seems to be symptoms of migrain. Drugs like paracetamol, asprine, ergotamine may be helpful. The drug in this condition should be taken as soon as you get the feeling that you are going to have headache.

If there is no relief, or there is stiffness of neck, dizziness, drooping eyelids etc consult a medical specialist or neurologist.

I just wanna know does domperidone tablets delayed the periods. My periods are delayed by 5 days. Some days before there were some white discharge from my nipples.
please suggest.

Pooja, domperidone has known side effects of changes in menstruation and discharge from nipples.

मेरा नाम अजीत कुमार है. मेरी age 26 साल है. कुछ समय पहले बीमारी के कारण मुझे कुछ टेस्ट करवाने पर गए लेकिन जब मैंने अपनी (Sperm Test) स्पेर्म अथवा वीर्य कि जाँच देखी तो में दंग रह गया वोह लोव लेवेल (Low Sperm Count) अथवा नॉर्मल नही थे. दरअसल बात यह है कि मुझे कई समय से नशे कि आदत है due to (SC) category में (IAS) कि परीक्षा देने वाला हूँ में इस्लिये परेशान हूँ कि कहीं एक्जाम पास करने के बाद में मेडिकल टेस्ट या फिजिकल टेस्ट में इस वजह से फैल ना हो जाउ वैसे में 5 साल बाद परीक्षा देने वाला हूँ क्या इस अंतराल में में अपनी (Disability) को ठीक कर सकता हूँ क्या में इस योग्य हो सकता हूँ ताकि भविशय में कोई तकलीफ ना आए कृपया उचित सलाह दे में आपका सादा आभारी रहुंगा

Ajeet, take nutrtious diet having lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits. Take regular exercises- jogging and yoga. Concentrate on studies and stop drugs. You will be normal. More over low sperm count is not a casuse of rejection in civis services or even army.

My brother is ahalf side paralysed patientdue to cerebral attach in the year 2005 . Is there any treatment in your hospital as "stem cell therapy" that has been successfull on such cases? Please reply

Physiotherapy is the only treatment. Control of associated problems like diabetes and hypertension is required. I am not aware of stem cell therapy.

Is there any Hospital in India where patients of paralysis due to Brainstroke are treated through Stem cell therapy? If So then What is the success rate?
Patients Biodata - Cerebral attach on 2005 in the right side of the brain, resulting in partial paralysis of left portion of the body. Pl send a reply atleast any reply for the correction of my question if anything goes wrong.
