what could/would cause lump and 3 marks on lil' sams windpipe, approximately 4 weeks after fluid in lungs,turned into pneumonia, cause oxygen level to drop,and lung to shut down? what is the lump...marks? possibilities?

My son was seen in the ER tonight with massive stomach pain and they said he was severely constpated they sent him home with golytely and told me to call and schedule a Barium Enema in the morning. He has been drinking this stuff for 2hrs and 40 minutes and still has not went to the bathroom and has thrown up all over my kitchen what should I do?

Low platelet count

Hi,
I have a low platelet count (150 units) on the desirable range of 150-450 units. I have noticed that my healing of wounds tends to be on the slower side, possibly as a result of the low platelet count. Can you suggest how I can go about increasing my platelet count? I am a 26 yr male, non smoker, non drinker.

leg injury

I was kicked by a horse 2.5 wks ago. the site (shin) was immediatly very swollen, like a tennis ball on front of shin, I iced and elevated etc. The swelling became less localised and after a few days i got bruising from knee to foot on front and side of leg. I had a small graze at impact site. This is now about 1.5 inch across and will not heal. During the day my leg swells from below knee to ankle with sweeling which does not recover shape after pressure on lower leg. I can walk ok and pain only when going downhill etc. The wound is not seeping pus but some waterey discharge. I have kept the wound clean. I have applied a topical tri antibiotic for last few days. I have also been taking 400 mgs ibuprofen 3 times day. I am 58 yrs old femal not overweight, non smoker and regularly exercise(run etc) I do have medication for blood pressure (plendil 5mg) and simvastatin 40mg daily.

Main apka bahut shukhr guzar hounga ager ap meri problem per advice dain.
Mera beta 1/10/08 ko paida hua tha aur next day hi pata chala ke osse jaundis hai fauran hospital main admit kara ya phir test ke bad pata chala jaundis 30 hai sath hi convulsion bhi ker raha tha aur sath main Meningitis bhi hai as per Doctor.Maine jaundiis ka report dekho convulsion muchhe feel nahi hua aur meningitis ka koi test nahi kiya gaya. bachhe main problem ye thi ki woh bahut ro raha tha , body yellow lagraha tha aur dodh pina band kerdiya tha. baher hal 12 dino tak icu main raha(phototharaphy hua 4 days oske bad jaundis 1 hogaya ) oske bad release hogye.
Ab problem ye hai ke woh 7 and half month ka hogaya hai per abhi tak baithne ya khisakne ki koshish nahi kerta hai and apna ser gerdan per sedha nahi ker sakta hai yani head ko gera leta hai sath hi sply rat main paida hone ke dosre din se hi aj tak bahut rota hai.baqee sab thik hai.
Pls muchhe advice dain log /local doctor tarah tarah ki bat kahte hain ke meningitis ke wajah se ye problem ho raha hai etc.
pls meri help karain apni best advice se Allah apki bhi madad karenge. Thanks

SIR,mera 2001 mai accident hua tha. mujhe post traumatic epilepsy hai. mai iska treatment 2001 se le raha hu.meri neurophysician ne mujhe advice dia ke mai apni neurosurgery kara lu.20-01-2009 ko maine surgery kara li. par mere seizures aur bad gaye. operation se pahele mujhe month mai seizures one time aate thay.seizures aane se pahele sound aata tha. aur din mai 2-3 times sounds aate thay.lekin operation ke baad mujhe ab 14-15 times sound aate hai daily.aur seizures week mai ek baar aa rahe hai.mai operation se pahele bhi medicines leta tha aur ab bhi leta hu.operation ke baad 27-04-09 ko maine EEG karaya uski report bhej raha hu.
EEG RECORD:-
An awake EEG record was done using the international 10-20 system with referential and bipolar montages.
The resting record is characterized by a background activity of 9-10 HZ alpha activity intermixed with 5-6 HZ theta activity,which is bilaterally,symmetrical and synchronous with posterio-anterior attenuation, reactive to eye opening and eye closure.hyperventilation does not induce any change. photic stimulation induces good shift of background activity bilaterally. there are frequent spike and slow wave discharges seen over left temporal region with phase reversals at T3 with secondary generalization.
IMPRESSION:- this EEG is suggestive of left temporal epileptogenic foci with secondary generalization.

Hello, I have 1 testicle and 5 weeks ago I caught the mumps virus. I noticed my sperm was a red colour, also my testicle swelled up. I did get this checked out and I was given antibiotics. I had an infection called Epididymel Orchitis. My sperm is like water now and I still have pain in my testes, if I am sterile do you think my testicle will right itself?? I am 38 and concerned. eye irritation

Iwear contacts, and was focused on my computer for 9 straight hours today. My eyes were hurting, and as i walked in the door after work my daughter threw a slipper at me & it hit me in the r eye, now it is extremely painful. i could not find the lens in my eye..but i can feel it. could it be pushed up under my eyelid? How do I get it out? it's really, really irritated and my eye is watery. help?

cushing's syndrome

Does this sound like cushing's?
Ok so i recently started looking up cushing's syndrome because my friend was telling me about it and it sounded like i could have an overproduction of cortisol. I have almost all symptoms of cushing's and about 2 years ago i had a benign tumor in my ovary. From research i've found that tumors do form in some cases of cushing's, just wondering if maybe this was an early sign that was over looked? Sorry if my information is a little off. I do plan on going to the doctor i just want some guidance from people who know the disease.
Also are severe migraines a symptom of cushing's?
