Hello
My name is Pravesh and i am from india. I visit to your site and i found that the pepple suggest by you are very happy as the get the beautiful path to live life because of you, i want to tell you my problem and hope that you will take care of me, I have black spots on my nose since two years which looks ugly and i many of my friends laught on me in this matter . one thing more that i am from a middle femily and i can't afford much expencive products. so please suggest me your advice according to my request.

Pravesh, it is difficult to guide you without examining the spot. You may consult a plastic/ reconstructive surgeon in a medical college hospital. Secondly, have confidence in yourself and develop expertise in your job, and don't develop any inferiority complex because of this spot. Elbow Pain

Is it elbow tendinitis or something else?
I got a really bad pain in my whole elbow/arm last year when I was ripping up carpet and was told that it's tendinitis however tendinitis doesn't last over a year, I took medication for it for a month and it never helped, now my family doctor isn't sure what it is so he refereed me to a specialist.
My symptoms are: Elbow pain caused by everyday activities, even just swinging arm when walking, pain will go into shoulder and sometimes forearm, when a certain area in the elbow joint is rubbed I will get a tingly feeling down may arm (It's not Carpal Tunnel, I already had 2 surgeries to correct that), sometimes my thumb will go numb.

Could it be a trapped nerve in my elbow? please help me I've been living like this for over a year now.

Darryl, please get an x-ray or CT scan of the affected elbow done to identify any bony or ligament injury. Secondly, nerve conduction tests can be done to see the functioning of major nerves- whether there is any compression. Consult an orthopedic surgeon to diagnose the problem.

i have endometriosis and was put on the injection to put me through a chemical menopause for six months. the treatment ended in march and my periods have not returned. however i had unprotected sex with my partener last week and want to take a pregnacy test. because i have not had a period when is it possible for me to take a home test and which one would be best for me to use?

Donna, you may take any pregnancy test, it would indicate the status. Your worry is justified and pregnancy is not impossible.

I have had stomach pains for the last 4 days. The pain is reoccurring in my upper abdomen. I have been feeling nauseated as well. My bowels and urinary system are fine and I also have no pain in my back or my sides. Its just occurs one spot. I need to know if there is something serious that I should get checked out in this area or if there is something over the counter I can take. I have been taking mylanta capsules and they seem to minimize the problem, but it keeps coming back. Your answers are greatly appreciated! Thank you

Nikki, it is difficult to understand your problem without detailed history and physical examination. Mild pain in upper abdomen associated with nausea gives an indication towards hyperacidity. Take bland small diets. try antacid drug like omeprazole for a couple of days. If there is no relief or the pain aggrevates please consult a surgeon.

I had my son 6 weeks ago. My postpartum appt. was on the 2nd. Since then iv been having cramps and when gas travels through my intestine it feels like its in my uterus. Today i had sex with my bf and it felt like his penis was banging on my uterus! When it was over i immediately got really lightheaded and started to hypervetilate and couldnt hear anything!! WHAT WAS WRONG?

Tatyyana, during pregnancy uterus gets enlarged and distended. After delivery the uterus contracts and generally return back to its previous size and position. If there is no bleeding most probably it has contracted well in your case too. However, if any doubt, your obstetrician can examine it physically and confirm the same. For pain antispasmodics can be taken for few days. For acidicty and gas antacids can be taken. After normal delivery the vagina becomes little lax and penis sometimes can reach to cervix and can cause pain. Ask you husband to be gentle for few weeks atleast.

Rubina, for IVF a number of sittings are required. Ultrasonography is done to identify ovulation, ova is taken out and fertilization is tried and fertilized egg is transplanted. These activities are tried a number of times and at some stage it succeeds. Cost depends on when you get the success.

Hi ,

I am M.Ali , age 28 male , i have left side chest pain from last 3 or 4 months , i feel pain when .....

1-When use computer ( sitting in chair ) feel little pain in chest.
2-When i sleep earth side , means chest touch with earth then feel little pain
3- Some time when i walk then i feel pain in my left side arm and chest .

From last couple of months my work performance and my memory is also weak ,
i feel very lazy and tied when i get up early in morning or after sleeping.

Please guide me what is that or give me any salution.

To rule out any heart problem, you need to get the following tests done:-
ECG,TMT,and Echo and consult the cardiologist

The bone in the middle of front side of chest in known as sternum. It has a projecting lower end . This is normal. Consult a doctor if you have any doubt.

My partner has had a headache for 3 weeks which he describes as a constant dull ache located in the frontal lobe area, that develops into a stabbing pain when he coughs or has an asthma attack. During the last week he has had a nose bleed a day. He says that he feels like the blood is leaking from the pain into his head & it fills up & leaks out of his nose. The blood is red not dark. He hasn't taken any pain medication & is fearful of dr's & hospitals. What could be wrong & how can I help him?

Sue, it would be better if your partner is investigated to rule out any disorder of brain or blood vessels. MRI of brain may be done. 1- 2 tablets of paracetamol may be given to him for pain. Consult a neurologist.
