Refer to a gynecologist who can examine her breasts to exclude any lump or knot. If still a doubt, mammography may be done.

Answer by FreeMedicalHelpline.com

Elane, no, the exact cause of migrain is not known.

agree exact cause not known. but breathing fumes for a while is bound to make a sensitive person feel ill. some people get migraine from perfume.
these are people who already suffer from migraine. certain things seem to cause another one. what a dreary condition.

tubes tied but maybe pregnant?

Posted by:

Amy

I got my tubes cut, tied and burned about 4mo. ago, however I am 2 weeks late for my menstrual cycle and I have had severe pelvic pain.I have been cramping the last few nights so bad it felt like contractions.I got up the other night and pretty much blacked out cause when I got up I was sweating all on my arms and face. I don't think this is a stomach bug cause all the pain is in my lower pelvic area.I'm wondering if maybe I have gotten pregnant in my tubes but I have never dealt with something like this.I'm need advice before I have to go sit at the hospital for hours on end for no reason, in case nothing is wrong. Please help enlighten me on this matter if anyone can!

Answer by FreeMedicalHelpline.com

Amy, since you have undergone tubectomy, it is very unlikely to be pregnancy. But, to be sure you may get urine test for pregnancy done. Home test kits are readily available.

Summary of Medical Question:

Pneumococcal Vaccination

Posted by:

Heather

I received the Pneumococcal Vaccination and Flu shot at the same time I have been having allergic reactionse. Fever, red swelling of the arm, aches and pain, weakness, shortness of breath, and swelling of the face and legs, and ankles. I am also a diabetic and my blood surgars keep on rising. I am taking many shots a day to try to control. The doctor I saw gave me an antibiotic and stated I should be better in two weeks. It is over two weeks and most of the effects have pasted, but the swelling in the ankles has increased and is causing pain. My doctor is not worried. I need someone to help please. What should I do?

Answer by FreeMedicalHelpline.com

Heather, there is need to investigate the cause of swelling. First check your blood sugar and control it. Second, try antihistaminic drug like avil for allergy if any. Third, get urine checked for any kidney problem that may cause swelling. If evrything is fine, x-ray ankles and thyroid function tests etc may be required. Please change your doctor if you are not satisfied with him. Better consult an internal medicine specialist.

Summary of Medical Question:

Flu

Posted by:

Chris

Im pretty sure i have the flu, but when i went to study the difference between having a seasonal flu and having swine flu, i became concerned when i saw that one of the symptoms of swine flu is pressure on the chest. I currently have pressure on my chest and the pain increases when i take deep breathes and i was wondering if i just have the seasonal flu or swine flu. Some other symptoms i have are; High fever, fatigue, sore throat, pressure on chest, and lack of energy.

Answer by FreeMedicalHelpline.com

Chris, if the fever remains very high continuously, if you feel very exhausted, if there is breathlessness or breathing is fast, please get it checked for swine flu. Otherwise wait but be alert on these symptoms.

Summary of Medical Question:

Multiple miscarriages with no successful baby yet

Posted by:

Romeekhan

Hi:
This is romeekhan from Canada. I am 31 yrs old female married from last five and half years and got seven miscarriages with no successful baby yet. I got treated from a specialist here. She did all kinds of blood test multiple times with me, cytogenetic tests with me and my husband, sent miscarried tissues to the labs whether were normal or mole). Everything was normal. She put on Prometrium 100 mg 6 capsules/day, Baby Aspirin 81 and Materna (multivitamin). The problem with the embryo start after six weeks because all the six times I miscarried almost between 11-13 weeks but the embryo was grown upto six weeks with no heart beat. Four of pregnancied on its own two as a result of D&C (after the use of Prometrium). Now my specialist is confused that she can't figure out the problem because she did everything what she knew. Now I am really worried I don't know what I should do. If you guys can help me that would be really great.
Also please tell me if there is any injection what can help the embryo to grow during the Ist trimester (Ist 12 weeks).
Thanks in anticipation.
romeekhan
