Most of these drugs cause sedation and respiratory depression to fetus. Although you are taking these drugs in very low doses, I would suggest you to first complete your treatment, stop the medication and then plan for a baby.

Summary of Medical Question:

fever,headache,chest pain

Posted by:

alwin davis

my son alwin is 5 years old , he is having fever, headache, and chest pain .already taken to doctor, given antibiotic and pain killer but still having the same above.please help.thank you.

Answer by FreeMedicalHelpline.com

Alwin, respiratory infection will take couple of days to improve. You son will be alright. If the fever increases above 102 degree centegrades, cold sponging can be done to check rise in temperature. If breathing rate increases- it is sign of seriousness of problem. In that case the bay is to be taken to a hospital and oxygen may be required. If there is no fast breathing and there is not very high temperature, continue the medication and he will be alright.

Answer by FreeMedicalHelpline.com

Your question is not clear. Ventricular septal defect can be easily detected by a doctor if he puts his stethoscope over your chest. It is not advisable for a person with this condition to go for a strenuous job. The condition can be corrected by surgery.

Summary of Medical Question:

scabies?

Posted by:

Christine

Hi. My ex boyfriend just called me and informed he was just diagnosed with scabies. He moved away about 7 weeks ago so I haven't had any contact with him in about that long. Should I be worried that I might have it to? I remember I had a few of what looked like bites that itched on my stomach over the summer (before he even left) at one point that I just brushed off to bug bites/spider bites (because where I live in Oregon there are lots of spiders/bugs) but I haven't had any real noticeable redness or skin lesions, etc since... what do you think? Should I be concerned?

Answer by FreeMedicalHelpline.com

Christine, scabies causes pin head sized red leisions, generally all over body, typically in between fingers. It causes lots of itching. If there is no itching, forget it. Secondly, even if scabies occurs, it can be treated easily with a skin lotion- gammabenzenehexachloride.

Summary of Medical Question:

VBAMC

Posted by:

Collette

I am a 21 year old female and I am pushing for a VBAC after 2 c sections- neither section was an emergency, both was just convenient for the hospital and I didn't know my right to refuse until now. My first section was November of 2005 and my second was of December of 2008. I am fully healed and now am about 5 months pregnant. My doctors are refusing to give me another chance at a VBAC because they say im too high risk, whereas, I spoke to 3 different hospitals, 2 midwives, and multiple doctors who sent me packets about my rights and the laws to VBAC and actual success stories about women who had successful VBAMC deliveries, a few even after 3,4, and 5 C Sections! I know I am perfectly capable of attempting VBAC, so I was wondering if their are any options that I may not already know about as far as pushing my doctors to allow me to do this and actually do their job cuz with my last 2 their decision was based on what was convenient, easier and faster for them and didnt care too much about my birth plan!! Please Email me back. I appreciate it. Thanks again.

Answer by FreeMedicalHelpline.com

Collette, you are very right that every woman has a right to go for normal vaginal birth after caesarean or c section.
it would also be useful to know that about 10- 15%pregnant woment worldwide end up in complications and have to be saved by c-sections. About 65% women after c section are able to go for normal vaginal delivery. During your first birth, may be you were too young. Now, this time you may try for a normal delivery but in a hospital that is fully equipped and prepared to identify complications if any arises and carry out c- section. Identify the doctor who agrees for this arrangement.

Poorva, you have a girl child or Laxmi in your home, what else do you need? You have serious medical problems and may end up in lots of complications if you conceive. Please tell your husband to get his vasectomy (NSV) done. If you want another child, adopt one.
