i suffered a hip injury and was diag as avn of left hip. however, on mri after 3 months the mri showed signs of rec. offlate the pain in the hip has started with little discomfort. is it avn or something else. the injury was sustained in the yr 2006. if it is avn is there a alt treatment to hip replacement. i had read an article in the newspapaper about a surgery by aiims without replacing the hip jt which led to treatment of avn of the hip. pl do let me know. also the concerned doc whom i may contact. thanks

uterine contractions, lower back pain

hello, i'm a 20 year-old female.
i'm not regular with my period. the cycle lasts from 1 month to 6 months. and i suffer from contractions for months before i get my period. it gets worse when i actually get it. sometimes the period is heavy otherwise its normal and lasts for about 10 days. recently i started having lower back pain and shooting pains near the vagina.
I had an unltrasound done around 4 years back and nothing was found.
in the beginning i get the contractions every 1 day, then gradually it becomes every 45 minutes until i get my period when i can get them continuously for 5-10 minutes.
I'd like to know if it's anything serious that might need immediate medical attention. thank you.

Well I havnt had sex for a week or two and I jus resently had a baby a month ago but I felt a discomfort down there and I looked and I was really swollen and red an burning I put an ice pack one it and it is helping a little bit. I want to know what this could be can u help me.....

My wife is pregnant fr 34wk 4days, Ultrasonograph report shows "The Occipital horn of the Right lateral ventrical is mildly dialated, the size of this dialation is about 10.5mm on 34wk of pregnant." - Is it any major problem Or any advise before delivery.
